Love at Fifty

The couple across the street stop by
              to thank me for the origami roses.
                            He ate a business card during lunch,
                                          she laughs.
Places her hand on his shoulder
              steering him back to a home he can no longer find
                            ten yards away.
                                           I lose my mind for her, too.
