makes the spot. Once
traced, troublesome
for the mind (wanting
and not, delighted
and not) to untrace:
simple insistence
there is no art
of the body―the night
you didn’t tell me
you didn’t love me
anymore, lightning, like
a hand, undid the elm,
remember?—but
