Constantine Mountrakis
The Etesians Took You Home
and muscle memory draws me
to where earth relinquishes its anger;
exacting mammals from ocean;
artifacts trapped in milk’s amber.

Constantine Mountrakis is an anthropologist and writer from New York City. When he isn't teaching anthropology, he is either reading, writing, or playing with his two boys. His work has appeared in Punchnel’s, Red Fez, and Lunch Ticket, among others.
