Lynne Thompson

Unfolding Blue

Begun in fondling
Begun benign

Of loin—
      unbid—

Of foe—
      unbound—

Of bold
Of fuel

Fouled
Foiled
Fugue
  & fine

No lien
No goblin

In union, un-led
In bed, unblind

Golden—
   I boil
         indulge
              unbend

  unboned
   bluefin
